While visiting the Knoxville Visitors Center, the WDVX Blue Plate Special is a must see! This live radio show offers a free performance featuring a variety of genres—from blues and folk to bluegrass, Celtic, and beyond. Constructed for the1982 World’s Fair, the Sunsphere is an iconic landmark in Knoxville’s skyline. Visit Knoxville operates and owns the Sunsphere Welcome Center and manages the Observation Deck. Tickets can be purchased to access the Observation Deck where you can experience a 360-degree view of the city and discover more about Knoxville.
