A Sneak Peek at the 2025 Dogwood Arts Festival
The Dogwood Arts Festival is back and better than ever, once again transforming World’s Fair Park into a vibrant celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and community spirit. Now in its 64th year, this beloved event remains one of the region’s premier showcases of local talent.
This year’s festival promises an unforgettable experience with 100 incredible artists, two stages of live music, a dynamic maker market, hands-on workshops, and so much more. Whether you like to plan your stops using the vendor directory or prefer to wander and discover each unique booth as you go, there’s magic waiting around every corner.

The newest addition to the Dogwood Arts Festival is The Maker Experience—an interactive space where creativity takes center stage. Brought to you by Maker City and KnoxMakers, this hands-on zone invites festival-goers to roll up their sleeves and try something new.
From cyanotype printing and calligraphy to painting, sewing, and more, local makers will be offering workshops and live demos throughout the weekend. Whether you're a seasoned DIY-er or just looking to tap into your creative side, there's something here for everyone.
Workshops are just $10 per person, with limited seating available, so be sure to get there early to claim your spot for the activities you’re most excited about!

Another great feature of the festival is Cartoonist Conversations. This unique chance to meet members of the National Cartoonists Society. This free session features a live drawing demonstration and an engaging Q&A, giving you a behind-the-scenes look at the world of professional cartooning. Whether you're an aspiring artist or just a fan of the craft, it's a must-see moment at the festival!
