Knoxville Chamber’s new strategic plan is designed to foster a competitive economy preparing the Knoxville region for the future. With a clear mission in mind, the Chamber identifies key priorities and initiatives to achieve economic opportunity for all. This forward-thinking approach will help propel Knoxville into a prosperous and inclusive future, benefiting businesses and residents alike.
A few priorities include:
Raise average annual pay by 30% in Knoxville by 2030
Lower poverty rate 25% in Knoxville by 2030
Raise innovation ranking in the Innovation Cities Index to 20 places by 2030 (currently ranked 63rd)

Develop & implement an innovation-growth strategy
Significantly enhance the Growth demographic talent retention and attraction efforts
Develop a Chattanooga-Knoxville-Tri-Cities Partnership
