ReLAUNCH’s Mission to Functional Zero Homelessness
Change is in the works in Knoxville— and thanks to the vision of Linda Conaway and the efforts of ReLAUNCH, that change is making our city a better, more compassionate place to call home.
At the heart of ReLAUNCH’s mission is a bold goal: reaching functional zero homelessness. That means homelessness becomes rare, brief, and nonrecurring — and every person who finds themselves without a home is quickly connected to the resources they need to get back on their feet.
ReLAUNCH tackles this challenge through collaboration with community partners and by providing life-changing resources to those who need them most. Their work doesn’t just address the immediate crisis of homelessness but the long-term stability and dignity of every individual they serve.
Their approach unfolds in three phases:
The Landing Pad – Provide shelter and stability to individuals and case management to help the individuals reach prolonged stability.
The Learning Pad – While partnering with other agencies, ReLAUNCH helps individuals access education to further their potential.
The Launching Pad – Provides tools, connections, and support for a successful transition into a renewed sense of purpose.
Through these phases, ReLAUNCH is breaking the cycle of homelessness in Knoxville — proving that with compassion, collaboration, and commitment, Knoxville can be a place where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
We're proud to feature ReLAUNCH on the Connecting Knox app and support their efforts in connecting individuals to the resources they need.
